PROJECT A NEW WIRELESS IMAGE WITH THE HOLIDAYS
Portable computers have become so thin and light these days that we hardly give it a second thought when it comes to taking one on the road with us. The power in a notebook system rivals and in many instances surpasses the power of most desktop models. Even the peripherals such as printers, scanners and the like are available in lightweight versions. But projectors have been lagging behind when it comes to finding one with sufficient brightness in a small and lightweight unit.
An offering from InFocus weighs in at a little under 2 pounds, yet throws off an XGA resolution (1024 by 768) with a brightness of 1000 ANSI lumens. That brightness level is sufficient to project a brightly lit image in a large conference room or even a small theatre to a wall around up to 16 feet away.
The LP120 is a small front projector that stands around 2 inches tall, 3.6 inches wide and 9.75 inches long. It's small enough to fit in a standard laptop carrying case and sets up in minutes. An interactive display lets you configure the projector via its keypad. A zoom lens lets you magnify the image to fit the wall onto which the image is to be viewed without having to physically move the projector. And its quiet 36 decibel operation won't distract anyone from your presentation.
And when you're ready to go wireless, InFocus' LiteShow accessory will access your computer's 802.11b connection to project your images without the hassle of having to wire up everything. Just plug the LiteShow module into the LP120's connector and you're ready to go with a range of up to 300 feet between your computer and the projector. You can instantly send any image on your computer's screen such as a slide prepared with PowerPoint to the projector. And when you're not using it with your computer, simply attach it to your any video output for an instant projection TV to watch that big football game.
Both the LP120 and the LiteShow are platform independent meaning that they work with both PC and Macintosh systems.
The LP120 sells for $2699, the LiteShow wireless adaptor goes for $499.

Who has the best deals, quality and service?
Shopping is on everyone's mind these days, so after you decide on that special gift, what make and model should you choose and where do you buy it? Well there's a place that people go to rate all kinds of products and the places from which they buy them. It can be a real eye opener. In fact, I'd say that reading what other people have to say about something is one of the best ways of determining just how good or bad something truly is. ResellerRatings.com is a good place to get consumer information and personal experiences from shoppers just like you. Go there to read the ratings, the trials and tribulations they went through with a company or product and it just might save you from making the wrong choice. Of course, there will always be the disgruntled shopper but ResellerRatings.com even rates the people who do the rating, and has other checks and balances in place to help give you a more accurate accounting.
ResellerRatings.com doesn't sell any of the products you read about. They merely provide a place you can go to that helps you locate what you want, and then lets you read what other customers have experienced. You may find ResellerRatings.com to be an invaluable resource before you plunk down your hard earned cash.
